Situated on a 4ha private nature reserve adjacent to the western boundary of the Goukamma Nature and Marine Reserve. This hide away from the hustle and bustle can be found on the Southern banks of Groenvlei (a fresh water lake), in dune fynbos, coastal forest and thicket. A one minute drive to the pristine beach of the marine reserve, and a five minute walk to the start of the Lake Trail, along the shores of Groenvlei. This open plan self catering flat can accommodate two people comfortably. An open-plan self-catering unit that sleeps four. This newly renovated, clean and well-appointed flat is on the ground floor of our family home, with a separate entrance and a magnificent view over Groenvlei Lake. The unit has a comfortable king-size bed and two bunk beds, a dining table and chairs, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, loo and basin. We run on rainwater so you will need to be content with shortish showers and shallow baths! Guests are asked to provide their own beach towels. There is a small kitchen area with a convection oven, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, etc. Leading into the lounge/dining area. Opening onto the patio/garden area with braai and patio facilities. DSTV is available for those wishing to bring along their own smart card. A bass-fishing boat is available (with a small electric motor) for fishing or bird watching on the lake, as well as two sea-kayaks(with paddles and life jackets). Two mountain bikes are also available.
