As of today we still have not had any confirmation of whether or not France and or Denmark will be using Knysna as a base camp. The confirmation we’re all hoping for may come in as early as tomorrow (Friday 11 December) but we will only know once Match gets the bookings done.

Its official, Find It SA has launched its new website. Not only has the style of the website changed but the usability and functionality of the website has been completely redesigned. With great new features such as up to date weather & exchange rates.

There are two ways to search the online directory, 1 ~ Browse by category & town. 2 ~ By typing the town name (to list every business in that town), By typing the business name, or by typing in one of the categories directly into the Search Box.

Find It SA Team

The intended services to be offered include, an office where there will be full time staffing during business hours, a website offering all that Knysna business has to offer.

In house assistance programmes in the form of preparation of trade enquiries, aquisition of relevant tenders to business in the region. Invitation of foreign potential investors and buyers to the region to see what we have to offer. We also will have training programmes and assistance schemes to help business people to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to get ahead in business. Computer terminals, coipier and fax facilities and other business related equipment also are on the list of services to eventually be in a full business centre.

The chamber also intends to offer possible international trade opportunities for people with good to trade overseas…and there are lots of these in our region.

We will regularly invite guest speakers to events, where business people can learn various aspects of what it takes to market, promote, finance and systemise you business for success.

This is just touching the tip of the iceberg on what is being proposed, but watch this spot for information on where and when to hear more. We also would like as many of you to attend the public meeting for the inception…but again watch this space for the date sometime in August 2009.

You have been nasty and done damaging things to the looks and feelings of this entity and it is time to start showing that you are sorry and that you are prepared to help them get back their true self worth.

They have given you things or beauty, allowed you to live off resources that they provide and you have abused the favour….NOW IT IS TIME FOR PAYBACK

Mother Earth contacted me via the www.enoughisenoughnowitspaybacktime.com website and said that she is prepared to forgive us if we take part in a project with her on the 22nd of September 2009.

There are some good guys that are going to run a project called www.plantingseason.co.za where they would like to get 1 000 000 (One Million) people to take the time to plant 1 x organic vegetable seed on that day as a gesture of concilliation. What it effectively means is that, when that plant yields and we share with others who have planted different veggies we are one major step closer to being self sustaining with regards to food at least. If you plant a mere 1 square metre of veggies, it will sustain a person, and lets face it we all have a square metre of space somewhere around our homes or work, and there is nothing better than home grown veggies and fruit.

Another thought, why not sign up and pledge an event that you will do with all of the people you work with for the date….We did and we are going to plant a company veggie patch in support of the initiative.

So don’t be scared, go say sorry to mommy earth and plant your seeds. Find someone else who is doing the same and swop out different species of goodies that you don’t have…and make a new friend at the same time.
